The weather is getting nicer and the sun is starting to stay out a little longer – it can only mean one thing: summertime! And what better way to enjoy the summer than by spending time with your significant other? In this blog post, we will be discussing some of the best summer date ideas. From unique outdoor activities to fun indoor options, we have got you covered! So grab your partner and get ready to have some fun!

Outdoor summertime dates are unique because they offer a change of scenery and allow you to experience nature. Whether you’re hiking or swimming, you’ll be able to see beautiful landscapes and enjoy some fresh air. What’s more, outdoor dates are often more active than other types of dates, so they’re a great way to get some exercise in. If you’re looking for a fun and unique date idea, consider going on an outdoor adventure with your partner! Our books are packed full of these kinds of ideas! For example, one of our favorite dates from our books is to have a Bachelor (TV show) themed wine tasting date at the park. When we went on this date, we actually used it as an opportunity to try a bunch of different Kombucha brands from Whole Foods that we had been wanting to try for a long time. We brought a fold out table and chairs to Golden Gate Park and set it up with a nice tablecloth, then we opened our cooler with our drinks and tried them one by one, reviewing them together!

Below are our 5 favorite date activities to go on during summer:

Another great and simple idea to go for a hike! We like to use the GeoCaching App to turn our hikes into scavenger hunts. This is a great option if you and your partner are nature lovers. There are so many beautiful trails to explore, and it can be a great way to get some exercise in as well. If hiking isn’t really your thing, don’t worry – there are plenty of other outdoor activities that you can do.

Painting At The Park

If you and your partner are artistically inclined, consider going on a painting date at the park! This is a great option for summer because you can take advantage of the beautiful weather and scenery. All you need is a canvas, some paints, and brushes, and you’re all set! This is a great activity to do if you’re looking for something that’s on the creative side!

It’s no secret that being creative is important. After all, creativity is what allows us to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems. And according to a study done by the University of Pennsylvania, being creative can also lead to a happier and more fulfilling life. So if you’re looking for a date idea that will not only be fun, but also beneficial to your relationship, consider this as your next date! It's scientifically proven to be a great date!

Picnic in your living room

If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, there are plenty of indoor options as well. One great idea is to have a picnic in your living room! This is a great option if you’re on a budget, or if the weather isn’t cooperating. You can also use this opportunity to get creative with your food – make some fun finger foods or even a charcuterie board. If you’re not in the mood for food, you can also have a movie night! Pop some popcorn and cuddle up on the couch with your partner. You can even make it a themed movie night – choose a genre or director and watch a few films throughout the evening.

A day at the beach

If you’re lucky enough to live near the beach, take advantage of it! A day at the beach is the perfect opportunity to relax and soak up some sun. You can build sandcastles, go for a swim, or just lay on the beach and read a book. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even go for a walk on the pier or try your hand at surfing. If you have a large group, you may want to consider playing a game of volleyball or beach football. For those looking for a more unique experience, try your hand at sand castle building! This is a great activity for couples or groups of friends. If you are feeling competitive, you can even have a contest to see who can build the best sand castle!

A visit to an amusement park or water park.

If you’re looking for a more thrilling date option, consider going to an amusement park or water park. This is a great option if you and your partner are adrenaline junkies. You can spend the day riding roller coasters, indulging in some delicious food, and spending time together.
